About the Event
Jesús Luis Zúñiga IV recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with joint master’s degrees in International Educational Development and Nonprofit Leadership. He is interested in philanthropy and dedicated to improving quality and access of education. Prior to Penn, Jesús Luis was Director of Development at the Latin American Leadership Academy in Medellin, Colombia. Previously, he taught English in Cameroon as a Peace Corps volunteer and later in Puerto Rico, after making a pivot from investment banking. Jesús Luis is from Houston, TX and holds a B.A. in economics from Amherst College.
Ms. OrianaTorres serves as the Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships at LALA, leveraging a career anchored in education, youth development, and entrepreneurship—three pillars she believes are essential to driving lasting societal change.
She holds an MBA from Babson College and, in 2013, delivered a TEDx Talk titled "Emprendimiento y creatividad desde el campus," reflecting her dedication to fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. With over 15 years of executive experience at organizations like AIESEC (a global youth leadership network), Endeavor Colombia, Knightsbridge Schools International, and Aprende Institute, Oriana joined LALA in early 2023 to further her mission of creating impactful leadership opportunities for young people.
